I’m a survivor, writer, coach, and proud steel magnolia.
My story is one of transformation - turning adversity into wisdom, survival into strength. After years of self-discovery, I embraced my purpose to plant seeds of knowledge so that others flourish in their journey to become the best version of themselves. In launching OakRoot HX, that mission comes to life - offering a community where women can find their way forward with truth, connection and grace.
I am often asked why I chose New Orleans as my home. Truth be told I think it chose me. After years of visiting, I felt its undeniable pull. The energy, the community, the unwavering sense of belonging and it became home. Not just for me, for community I am building. The majestic live oaks of New Orleans are woven into the identity of OakRoot HX. Their deep roots and expansive canopies reflect the heart of this community - where women can grow, heal, and find strength together.
